Kansuke Nakamura was born in Yamaguchi, Japan and began training at the Kuroda Ballet in Yamaguchi under Setsuko Kuroda. In 2012, Kansuke started at the Koike Ballet Studio in Hiroshima, Japan to continue his training. He was a semi-finalist in the Youth America Grand Prix held in New York and awarded 6th place in the Classic variation of the Japan Grand Prix and 4th place in the Contemporary. In 2018, he received a scholarship to study at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School under the direction of Marjorie Grundvig. Since joining the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School in 2018, Kansuke has performed in numerous ballet works. Some include The Nutcracker (Russian, Arabian, Sugar Plum Pas, Sugar Plum Grand Pas de Deux, Marie and Nephew; Napoli (Corps de Ballet); Don Quixote (Pas de Deux - Basil); Diana and Action ( Pas de Deux - Action)
